The Geographies page brings together three distinct analytics views — a member location map, device usage breakdowns, and visit volume tracking — each accessible from its own tab. All data shown on this page is scoped to your current team workspace, giving cooperative and community finance teams a clear picture of who their members are and how the platform is being used.
Both device and visit analytics are scoped to your team. Platform owners can view analytics for any team.

World Map Tab

The World Map tab renders an interactive map with a pin for every member location your team has recorded. Use the + and zoom controls to explore the map — you can zoom in up to 12× for detailed regional views, and the reset button returns the map to its default zoom level at any time. Hover over any location pin to see a tooltip showing that member’s name, city, and country. This makes it easy to identify clusters or verify that a specific location has been entered correctly.

Adding a Member Location

1

Click + Add location

Select the + Add location button above the map to open the location form.
2

Select the member

Choose the team member you want to associate with this location from the member dropdown.
3

Choose a country

Pick the member’s country from the country selector. Latitude and longitude coordinates are pre-populated automatically based on the country you select.
4

Enter a city (optional)

Optionally type a city name to place the pin at a more precise location within the country.
5

Save the location

Click Save. The pin appears on the map immediately and the member’s name, city, and country become visible in the hover tooltip.

Devices Tab

The Devices tab shows how your team members are accessing the platform — broken down by desktop and mobile — across the current year. At the top of the tab, two YTD stat cards display the year-to-date total sessions recorded from desktop devices and from mobile devices respectively. Below the stat cards, two charts give you a more granular view:
  • Grouped bar chart — desktop and mobile session counts plotted side by side for each month of the year, making it easy to spot seasonal shifts in device preference.
  • Stacked area chart — the proportional split between desktop and mobile share over time, useful for understanding long-term trends rather than raw counts.
Device type is determined automatically from the viewer’s viewport width: a width of 768 px or greater is classified as desktop; anything narrower is classified as mobile.

Visits Tab

The Visits tab tracks how often authenticated team members open the Geographies page, giving you a proxy for engagement with location and analytics features. Two figures appear at the top of the tab:
  • YTD Visits — the total number of page visits recorded since the start of the current year.
  • Current Month — the count of visits in the current calendar month, updated as each new visit is recorded.
A smoothed area chart beneath the figures plots visit volume over time, with smoothing applied to reduce noise from day-to-day variance and surface the underlying trend. Data is collected each time an authenticated member of your team opens the Geographies page. Unauthenticated views and visits from outside your team are not counted.
